Ramsey Bakery is in production six days per week, Monday to Saturday.

Production is monitored and controlled by codes of practice which covers the complete quality management system and ensures that there is full traceability within the production lines.

Bread and roll production starts from early evening and continues through the night to ensure that Ramsey Bakery customers are assured of the freshest bakery products possible.

Ramsey Bakery’s range of quality products is unsurpassed and are recognised as the brand leaders within the island.

First deliveries leave the bakery from around 6-00 a.m. serving the Douglas area's food outlets with freshly baked bread, baps and rolls.

This daily service is at the very heart of the business’s we serve for without quality fresh bread and rolls they could not produce their excellent fare for their customers.

Under normal circumstances all delivery vehicles are away by 8:30am serving the whole of the Island from Andreas to Port Erin.

This daily service ensures that the whole of the population is provided with fresh bakery goods on a daily basis.

Irrespective of whether the ferry sails or not Ramsey Bakery always deliver the freshest bakery goods possible throughout the Isle of Man.

The following video was prepared by Manx National Heritage, illustrating the use of Manx wheat to make Ramsey Bakery bread.
